What you will be doing

The world is changing more rapidly than ever before. We recognise this at Gelato and put speed of execution at the heart of how we operate and how we challenge each other.

As a VP of Product at Gelato, your leadership will help drive our business forward with energy and pace. We solve problems rapidly, wielding data and intuition in equal measure, and finding innovative approaches to many of the complex challenges we encounter as we continue to scale our business. You will help organize and prioritize work motivating our product teams to deliver world class software solutions.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating several product teams with a focus on delivery in a highly technical environment

• Developing and setting a clear product vision for our API business and strategy for your teams

• Working closely with our API business leaders to shape future product strategy

• Overseeing ambitious roadmaps that connects customers, business partners, engineering and design in a powerful way

• Providing thought leadership internally and bring in best-in-class product development practices to your teams

• Leading and supporting engineering and product teams in execution to produce world-class solutions that validate ideas, delight customers, and unlock speed and scale for the business

• Obsessing over the data, instrumentation and getting to the core of issues

• Working very closely with customers to understand what we build and why

• Thinking entrepreneurially about how to make progress: we operate in an ecosystem of solutions and services, and many problems we face have already been solved in some form by others.

You may be a good fit if:

• You obsess over culture creating an environment where product managers and engineers can innovate and deliver at speed

• You have 5+ years of experience as a hands on Product Manager working with complex software, with demonstrable leadership experience

• You have experience leading a team of highly skilled product managers

• You have strong technical skills with the ability to work closely with engineering teams understanding and solving complex problems

• Have experience creating and executing on complex roadmaps encompassing multiple product teams
