Human Resources Generalist – Corporate Functions

When I joined Gelato: January 2021

Why I joined Gelato: Gelato's mission and sustainability goals inspired me! I was searching for an entry-level Human Resources position where I could learn by doing. I also wanted to be in a company where I found the environment interesting and intellectually stimulating, and Gelato fit the bill perfectly! 

Favourite Part of my Job: I like the problem solving aspect of my job and finding solutions with my team. I appreciate the great amount of diversity at Gelato and meeting and working with people from all over the world! 

Outside of work: I enjoy painting and studying languages (Norwegian and French). I also like to participate in community theatre. 

My current Mt Everest: I have recently been involved in ensuring that all employees are signed up and understand their benefits (like insurance and retirement plans). As we open new offices, I work with the team and brokers to make sure everything is in place for these benefits.
