When i joined Gelato: May 2019

Why I joined Gelato: I was looking for an exciting role in a growing company and wanted the opportunity to broaden my skills into other areas of HR aside from recruitment. Joining a small HR team of such an ambitious company i knew i would have great opportunity to help build our HR function and learn a ton of new things

Favourite Part of my Job: It sounds a bit cliche but it is absolutely the people at Gelato. Whatever i am doing, i am working with people that are incredibly smart and motivated and always happy to share their skills and experiences  

Outside of work: My first passion is being a dad to my two boys - Sebastian age 4 and Henry age 6. When I am not building dens, hunting for crabs at the beach or chasing them around the woods I spend my time riding and racing bikes (the pedal variety)

My current Mt Everest: Trying to help the team build a world class recruitment function here at Gelato. We are growing so quickly so it is tough finding the right people to join the team at scale. But this is a great chance for us to think about different ways of working and how can use tools and technology to help with this challenge
